Thought of the Day
“See how Monet saw. Broaden your glance. Look for the astonishing and miraculous” Dr. Maria Sirois

Claude Monet began painting his Water Lilies series in 1897. "As the storm of WWI raged around him in Europe, Monet sat near his water gardens, painting his aquatic plants in various states of bloom, his Japanese-style bridge, and the long hanging willow branches, reaching for the pond waters below” (http://www.monetpaintings.org/water-lilies/).

His work is so beautiful and inspiring .

Today’s thought of the day comes from Dr. Sirois, on her video, “What to remember: Soften your gaze”, October, 26,2020. I find this quote inspiring and a beautiful reminder of the beauty and miracles around us.

Best wishes, Mary
