Resilience and Relationships
We should consider who we spend time with to support our resilience.
Psychologist Jacinta M Jiménez recently wrote:
Are you a good people picker? How do you know which people are good to be around when you're faced with stress or challenge?
Dr. Dina Carbonell studied the habits and characteristics of people who successfully bounced back from trying times by tracking her subjects for 25 years. She found that:
"Resilient people identify those who are available, trustworthy, and helpful. Then they go towards this light."
#Resilient people are skilled at assessing and aligning themselves with people who build them up and do not drain them energetically.
